Islamabad/Pakistan; 03 Feb 2020 – “Azerbaijan has made significant progress towards democratic development. In 1918, Azerbaijan established the first democratic republic in the East. In this regard, the fraternal Azerbaijani people have always appreciated the democratic values. The upcoming parliamentary elections will also be an important step towards democratic development”, Chairman of the Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Associations (TADEF) Bilal Dundar told the representatives of Independent Media Center of Azerbaijan.
He said that today, Azerbaijan is entering the next stage of development and serious reforms are underway in the country. Bilal Dundar said: “The reforms carried out in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev are aimed at improving living standards, ensuring transparency in governance and sustainable development of the country. This is very crucial for the future of Azerbaijan. I am sure that MPs represented in the new parliament would also contribute to this.”
Saying that he is following the election process in Azerbaijan, B. Dundar said that there was an interesting and competitive electoral environment in our country. He expressed confidence that the results of the parliamentary elections will reflect the will of the Azerbaijani people.
