RUSSIAN ARMY KILLING CHILDREN IN UKRAINE

Islamabad: Monitoring Desk -To date, more than 815 children have sufered from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – 288 children were killed and more than 527 were injured. Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region – 218, Kharkiv region – 166, Kyiv region – 116, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 54, Kherson region – 52, Mykolaiv region – 48, Zaporozhye region – 30, Sumy region – 17. Due to the bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces 1971 educational institutions were damaged, 194 of which were completely destroyed.

On the morning of June 13, a 6-year-old boy, a woman and a man were killed in Lisichansk, one person was injured. In Lisichansk, a shopping complex burned down, four houses were damaged, and the buildings of a local mine were damaged.

The Russians destroyed 11 houses in Vrubovka, four in Zolote, and two houses and a kindergarten in Gorny.

In Severodonetsk, the Russians have damaged the sewage treatment plant and are destroying the residential area block by block. Several shells hit the treatment facilities of Severodonetsk. The territory of Azot plant was fired three times, where people still remain in bomb shelters.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians hit residential areas of the Zelenodolsk community with cluster munitions from the Uragan MLRS. In Zelenodolsk, they hit the city center. On the preliminary data, one person was killed, five were injured (three women and two men). In Velikaya Kostroma, preliminary, no casualties. The village was partially left without electricity. Houses were damaged and destroyed in Zelenodolsk and Velikaya Kostromka.

In Kharkiv, the Russian Federation also strikes with prohibited ammunition. Fragments of 9N210/9N235 cluster munitions were found in the city. The use of cluster munitions is prohibited by international law.

In Nikolaev, in the Bashtansky district, the invaders fired at the Shirokovskaya community. Residential buildings were damaged and farm warehouses were destroyed. Shelling continues in the Bereznegovatsky community of the Nikolaev region.

In the morning, from the side of the Russian village of Popovka, the enemy fired heavy weapons at the Sumy region. There were 30 explosions and three “arrivals” from mortars. Also, the Russians fired three times at the city of Priluki, Chernihiv region. In one of these cases, the occupiers fired two dozen 120 mm caliber mines accompanied by heavy machine guns.

The RF Armed Forces launched an airstrike on Bakhmut. The shock wave broke windows in many residential buildings and damaged the hospital. In some of them, the iron entrance doors were jammed – the residents remained locked inside. In total, three civilians were injured.

In Bucha, Kyiv region, another mass grave was found. Seven bodies of men were buried in the abandoned positions of the Russians: six were found in one grave, another civilian was found nearby. All of them were shot in the head. The dead had their hands tied, and some were shot in the knees. All the dead are between 30 and 40 years old.
