Republic of Tajikistan is hosting “Dushanbe International Investment Forum – 2023″ on 29-30 Sep 2023 in capital city Dushanbe unveiling the potential of the country for foreign investments in energy, industry, agriculture, health, pharma, communication, connectivity, tourism and education sectors. Recently signed joint projects with China, Russia and UAE will also be discussed in the forum keeping in view the future prospects of growth thanks to these agreements.
The forum will be held at the initiative of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Executive Body of the State of Dushanbe.
The forum is aimed to represent the potential and favourable investment environment of Tajikistan, attract investments, establish and strengthen cooperation between domestic companies and foreign investors, as well as create opportunities for the development of digital business to implement the fourth strategic goal – the rapid industrialization of the country.
President Mr. Emomali Rahmon, the Leader of the national will inaugurate the forum with his presence at the occasion. He will also address the participants enlightening them about the conducive environment and policies in his country for the foreign investors. All the Ministers ,and representatives of Business community of Tajikistan will be present in the forum to apprise the international guests about the prospects and potential of their country for direct investments and joint ventures.
The organizers have cordially invited all Diplomatic Missions, United National Agencies, International Organization, Chambers of Commerce and Industry and All Business Associations, Companies to attend the forum.
Tajikistan has made tremendous development in recent years in the fields of agriculture, food security, industrial development, health and pharmaceutical , banking, digitization, communication and transit facilities with roads and rails networks, tourism and education sectors etc. This development aims at linking the country with international markets. The forum is also in the same connection that is too share the opportunities for the international investors in Tajikistan.
The participants of the forum will also visit important cities of Tajikistan that have specific relevance with investment potentials. Norak is a city in southern Tajikistan, an energy city with a long history. In the book “Tajikon” it is mentioned that people lived here during the Stone Age. The city of Tursunzoda is one of the centers of the manufacturing industry of Tajikistan, located 65 km west of the city of Dushanbe. The guests will also be taken to the industrial zone of Dushanbe city to see with their own eyes the industrial growth in the state.
