Tehran is currently being bombed in a very heinous manner. Airstrikes on a very large scale are targeting not only government and military targets but also civilian residential areas with extreme brutality. Neighborhoods are disappearing from the face of the earth. The videos coming from Tehran are very heartbreaking and painful.

At least 555 civilians killed in US-Israeli attacks so far: Iranian Red Crescent

In addition, in Lebanon, Asr-Il has destroyed a 6-story building in an airstrike, and several important party officials, including the Lebanese party’s intelligence chief, Hussein Muqlid, were killed in this attack.

171 Iranian students have been killed in the past 40 hours in the Israeli-American terrorist attacks on Iran. The number of casualties from the Zionists’ brutal attack on the girls’ elementary school in Minab has reached 168.

Former UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter: What in God’s name could lead us to bomb two girl schools? I’m involved in this. I did this for a living. I know you don’t make those mistakes.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a tweet, “These are graves being dug for  innocent young girls who were killed in the US-Israeli bombing of a primary school. Their bodies were torn to shreds. This is how “rescue” promised by Mr. Trump looks in reality. From Gaza to Minab, innocents murdered in cold blood.”

US and Israel are targeting the hospitals in Tehran. There are reports that Gandhi Hospital set up by India in the past when both countries had good relations, is damaged in the attacks.

Following a projectile strike in the vicinity of Tehran’s Gandhi Hospital, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of this medical center has sustained serious damage. Several nearby residential buildings have also been damaged on March 1, 2026.

Director-General of the World Health Organization, Mr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a tweet, ” Reports of Tehran’s Gandhi Hospital being damaged during today’s bombardment of the Iranian capital are extremely worrying.”

He said, W.H.O is working to verify the incident. But it serves as a reminder that all efforts must be taken to prevent health facilities from being caught up in the ongoing conflict. Health facilities are protected under international humanitarian law.
The Zionist-American aggressors targeted seven medical centers in Iran. Abuzar Hospital in Ahvaz, three emergency centers in Sarab, Chabahar and Hamedan, and Khatam, Motahari and Gandhi hospitals were mentioned. Two emergency personnel were also injured in these attacks.

President Masoud Pezeshkian has said , Attacks on hospitals strike at life itself. Attacks on schools target a nation’s future. Targeting patients and children blatantly violates humanitarian principles. The world must condemn it. I stand with my grieving nation. Iran will not remain silent or yield to these crimes.

Embassy of Iran in Islamabad issued the statement of condemnation from Ambassador Dr Reza Amiri Moghaddam as , “After a brutal and awkward attack on Minab’s school leading to martyrdom of 160 innocent student, US & Israeli regime’s masacar machinery assaulted Tehran’s #Gandhi_Hospital. The deliberate targeting constitute blatant war crime and crimes against humanity.”

UNESCO is deeply alarmed by the impact of the ongoing military escalation in the Middle East on educational institutions, students, and education personnel.

Initial reports indicate that an attack on a girls’ primary school in Minab, southern Iran, has resulted in the deaths of over 100 individuals, including numerous students. The killing of pupils in a place dedicated to learning constitutes a grave violation of the protection afforded to schools under international humanitarian law.

Attacks against educational institutions endanger students and teachers and undermine the right to education. In accordance with its mandate and with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2601 (2021), UNESCO recalls the obligations of all parties to protect schools, students and education personnel.
