ISLAMABAD : Monitoring Desk – Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Minister of Algeria Ahmed Attaf on the sidelines of the 81st UNGA in New York.
The two Ministers held wide-ranging discussions on bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in trade and investment, economic cooperation, education, culture and people-to-people contacts. They emphasized the importance of sustained high-level engagement.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments. DPM/FM emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing contemporary challenges.
Both Ministers expressed satisfaction on the excellent cooperation between the two sides at various multilateral fora, particularly the United Nations, and agreed to further strengthen their coordination.
Both sides agreed to maintain close contact and sustain momentum in bilateral relations.
