Islamabad: 09 Dec 2021 – Pakistan-Azerbaijan Alumni Association -PAAA and Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad -CUI jointly organised a seminar on “The Youth Policy of visionary leaders: Heydar Aliyev and Muhammad Ali Jinnah” dedicated to the death anniversary of Hyder Aliyev.
Ambassador Khazar Farhadov called on Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tabassum Afzal, Rector of COMSATS University on same day. Both officials discussed matters of mutual cooperation in education sector. The Rector welcomed the delegation of Azerbaijan and expressed his keenness to establish interaction with universities of Azerbaijan.
The seminar was attended by youth leaders, academicians, writers, media persons, diplomats and university students. Dr. Aneela Maalik, Executive Member of PAAA moderated the seminar and enlightened the audience about the late Hyder Aliyev and Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Ambassador Khazar Farhadov shared how the leadership of Heydar Aliyev led his nation from crisis to stability and prosperity. Azerbaijan was set on the road of rapid growth and development by the visionary qualities of the leader.
” Heydar Aliyev attached great importance with the youth of the nation as the leaders of future. He always had high hopes with youth and repeatedly said that the future of Azerbaijan is in the hands of youth.
The ambassador expressed his views on Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his struggle for establishment of Pakistan. He noted that MA Jinnah was a strong inspiration for the Muslim youth of the region.
“President Ilham Aliyev has continued the youth and other policies of Heydar Aliyev. Azerbaijan has taken all necessary measures to develop youth policy to ensure the participation of young people in responsible positions. They can become a leading force and solve their socio-economic problems.
Mohammad Ali Tavab Baloch, Head of the International Office COMSATS University and Ms. Aqeela Asif shared their views about the far-sighted policies of both leaders for the development and prosperity of their countries, especially youth reforms.
Founder President Pakistan-Azerbaijan Alumni Association- PAAA, Engr. Qaiser NAWAB said that Education, E-Commerce, Sports, Performing Arts, Cultural Exchanges and Youth Diplomacy are the major areas in which both brotherly countries have potential of mutual collaboration.
He said that the vision of the great leaders can support us in addressing our problems at local as well as regional and international level.
