Firing incident in the Imran Khan’s long march has actually exonerated PDM central Government and Establishment of the blames leveled by Imran Khan himself. The onus is now on Punjab government to come with details what happened in PTI Long March at Wazirabad, the newly upgraded tehsil of Gujranwala to the District of Gujrat Division. Only two weeks ago, CM Punjab issued notification of Wazirabad’s separation from Gujranwala and annexing it to Gujrat, the home town of CM Pervez Elahi.

Law and Order is provincial subject. Punjab government is supposed to take the responsibility of security laps here. Punjab is governed by PTI itself. Former Secretary Information of PTI, Former Governor of PTI, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema is Advisor (Minister Status) Interior in Punjab.

The culprit, Naveed was arrested on the spot and he admitted his crime without any support behind him. Punjab Police took preliminary statement on Naveed that is viral on social media and electronic channels. He gave “Islami Touch” to his act that “they were playing songs while Azaan was on.”

An officer of Punjab Police at the Police Station was investigating him and he was asking about the culprit’s bike only and not about his pistol as where he took it from and where is the pistol now? The only professional question he should have  asked.

This not only speaks about the conspiracy from other than PDM government or Establishment but hints at the performance of the Punjab government as well. For example how easily the Punjab Police is  taking the highly delicate sensitive matter as nothing big happened.

The whole matter is suspicious itself. Only one bullet was fired by the arrested culprit from 9 mm pistol. One worker of PTI lost life while 10 others had injuries including Imran Khan. Pallets can hit more people but 9 mm pistol can fire a bullet only. Here another suspicion arises that how it hit on the leg of Imran when the fire was shot from down the road to up on the container?

There was a burst along with the gun shot? PTI sources say that it was AK-47 burst that hit group of the people. The man with AK-47 could not be traced and arrested. May be Punjab Police can produce the bullets to prove that it was the same rifle cum klashnikov.

Imran Khan’s reaction to the incident was not in line with the law. Firing and when a life is lost, it is purely a legal matter. Imran shifted to Shaukat Khanam Hospital that is a private hospital. Legally, he should have been shifted to government hospital for medico legal.

This incident is also being seen as Friendly Fire for Face Saving to postpone the Long March because the march was not getting rush and the sources of PTI were not enough to continue it to Islamabad in next week, 7 days.

The deaths during the long march , lady journalist, a worker of PTI and a youth sent negative messages to the public about the necessity and preparedness of the march.

The reaction from the workers of PTI in Faisalabad and Peshawer is worst if we see it in accordance with law. The workers gathered in front of Rana Sana Ullah the Federal Interior Minister in Faisalabad and Corp Commander in Peshawer. Another highly objectionable and apprehendable protest was stage in Bajaur as well where the leader of the protest threatened to attack on Rana Sana with Kalashnikov. Incidents of Firing in the air indiscriminately have also been reported from different cities.
