ISLAMABAD: H.E Leslie Scanlon took initiative to gather woman ambassadors serving in Islamabad to host a meet and discuss issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Ambassadors and High-commissioners of European Union, Austria, Bulgaria, Kenya, Maldives and Philippines.
The participants discussed a variety of topics including working together and playing their role in enhancing the bilateral relations with Pakistan.
Here it is worth mentioning that Pakistan has a woman foreign minister of state while the spokesperson of ministry of foreign affairs is also a women. It makes an interesting as well as conducive environment for woman envoys working in Pakistan.
