Dr. Aafia Siddiqui: Daughter Of The Ummah

It was the month of July and it was very hot. It was 4:00 o’clock, I had come from college & I was traveling in a car along with my younger brother Zeeshan Khan from Peshawar to Landi Kotal in Khyber Agency (Dara-e-Khyber), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I had Dawn newspaper. I was reading the newspaper when I noticed an important official visit and that visit was of the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

The newspaper reported that:
“As Imran Khan wrapped up his three-day visit to the US on Wednesday, the overall sentiment centered around seeing it as a ‘diplomatic win’ for Pakistan. Return home with a successful journey.”

My own thought was that since Imran Khan had assured Aafia Siddiqui’s mother before becoming the Prime Minister that he would do something for Aafia Siddiqui. So my thought was that if Imran Khan actually talks to the then US President Trump about Aafia Siddiqui and it has a healthy effect and results in the release of Aafia Siddiqui, the daughter of the nation, So it will really be a historic success for the government of this era.

But unfortunately, when journalists asked both the president Trump and PM Imran Khan in the White House that PM Imran Khan would you like to talk to president Trump about Aafia?. So both PM Imran Khan and President Trump said that “well discussed”.

The then Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan returned to Pakistan after his visit to America. So he didn’t even mention “Aafia.” Tehreek-e-Insaaf Party workers in Pakistan welcomed PM on his arrival and showered flowers on PM as congratulations. And on the contrary, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan tied flowers to the compliments of the then US President Trump.

In August 2009, Pakistan’s then Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani announced that the government would pay $2 million to three American lawyers who would appear in an “American court” for Aafia Siddiqui. It should be noted that the Lahore High Court had prohibited the government from releasing this amount because it was feared that the money would be stolen. In the court, the petitioner said that justice is not expected from the American court, so this money should be spent by filing a case in the International Court of Justice. But this attempt was nothing but an empty political narrative.

The biggest pain for the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah was that Esmat Siddiqui, the mother of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, kept writing letters to many governments of Pakistan, but her series of letters also ended and her daughter’s grief and yearning made her Suffered from diseases. And she left this mortal world on July 2022.

Aafia Siddiqui was a great Muslim scientist and researcher. She was blessed with God gifted abilities. In the field of science, Aafia had reached such heights of scientific research that she decided to take the step of revolution in Pakistan and thought of doing something for Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.

At that time, the American terrorist intelligence CIA started tracking Aafia. Because America did not want Dr. Aafia Siddiqui to advance ahead of them in science and technology, they made baseless accusations against the nation’s daughter Aafia Siddiqui as usual.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was born on March 2, 1972 in Karachi.After studying in Zambia until the age of 08, she completed his primary & secondary education in Karachi. After that, she stayed for some time at the University of Texas in Boston, Texas, then she received a Ph.D. in Genetics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

She returned to Pakistan in 2002, but due to not getting a job, she went on a visit to America to look for a job. Meanwhile, she rented a post box to receive mail in Maryland and returned to Karachi in 2003. The FBI suspected that the mailbox was actually rented to someone with ties to al-Qaeda. Aafia Siddiqui was advertised as a terrorist in the American media. Seeing this, Aafia went into hiding in Karachi for some time.

On March 30, 2003, along with her three children, she left for the airport in a taxi to Rawalpindi, but disappeared on the way, and later there were reports that she had been kidnapped by the Americans. At that time she was 30 years old and the eldest child was four years old and the youngest was one month old. The news of Aafia’s arrest was published in local newspapers, but later the ministers feigned ignorance and her mother Ismat Siddiqui was threatened.

And the extreme of negligence of our respective institutions was that in December 2009, Karachi Police finally registered a case of abduction of Aafia Siddiqui and her children in 2003, against unknown persons.

International organizations expressed the opinion that the prisoner number 650 in the American prison Bagram in Afghanistan is probably Aafia Siddiqui, who was imprisoned there in extremely bad conditions. After an uproar in Pakistani newspapers.

The American terrorists suddenly announced that Aafia had been arrested from Afghanistan on July 27, 2008 and brought to New York to be tried on terrorism charges.

The Human rights organizations described the American terrorists story as unbelievable. Aafia was seriously injured by American soldiers during her capture in Afghanistan, then American military doctors rated Aafia’s medical condition as 03 (near death) on the Glasgow scale. However, the Americans alleged that Aafia had tried to take the American terrorist soldier’s gun, on which they shot her!.

Raymond Allen Davis was a contractor for the American intelligence CIA when he shot and killed two Pakistani nationals in Lahore on January 27, 2011. On March 16, 2011, Raymond Davis was released after paying $2.4 million as a blood money to the families of the two victims. The jury then acquitted him of all charges and Davis immediately returned to the United States.

Raymond Davis kills innocent Pakistanis by shooting them in the chest in broad daylight. And then how the exposed justice system of Pakistan comes forward to save this American terrorist CIA killer. At that time there was also a chance that Aafia Siddiqui could be released through negotiations at the diplomatic level. But unfortunately all our political parties used the tragedy of Aafia Siddiqui for their political purposes and dirty rhetoric and bowed down to the superpower like America.

US staged the Abbottabad operation without our permission, by violating our national sovereignty.

American intelligence has always been engaged in operations against us along with Israeli intelligence and Indian intelligence. APS Peshawar attack was behind huge amount of US dollars and Indian conspiracy. And in the same way, America has not spared our newborn generations and tortured them.
America has destroyed millions of lives by carrying out more than 400 drone attacks in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The 2011 NATO Attack on Pakistan, (also known as the Salala incident, the Salala attack or the 26/11 attacks) occurred when terrorist United States led NATO forces attacked two Pakistani military checkpoints in Pakistan.
