President of Pakistani AJK Expresses Solidarity with TRNC – Calls upon World to Recognize the Turkish Republic

Islamabad: The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has expressed solidarity with Turkish Republic of North Cyprus and called for recognition of the republic as full fledged state like the Greek Cyrus. He expressed his views in meeting with Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan, Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, at the President’s Kashmir House, Islamabad.

He has said that the solution to the Cyprus problem is the establishment of two states because Greek and Turkish Cyprus cannot live together. Greece has already created Greek Cyprus and now the need is to establish the two states. It is also important because these two states are in Europe.

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry told the Ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Pacaci that he will visit Turkey soon as he has been invited by the Turkish Parliament. During my visit to Turkey, I will also ask the Turkish government and parliament to support the Kashmiri people. On this occasion, the President  and the Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, discussed other issues including mutual interest.
