Foreign Minister Pakistan Reiterates Unwavering Support for Palestine in Meeting with Ambassador

Islamabad: Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Ahmed Jawad A. A. Rabei paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs Pakistan Mr. Ishaq Dar to convey his warm wishes on the assumption of office.

The Foreign Minister thanked the Ambassador and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and called for an urgent and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza.

Earlier, President Zardari, in his address to the National Day parade on 23 March , said Pakistan wants good relations with all its neighbors, but warned that Islamabad will not compromise its sovereignty. He condemned Israeli brutalities against innocent citizens, women , children and elderly. He urged the international community to stop the killings in Gaza.

The President had  reiterated his country’s continued support for the Palestinian people and said Islamabad will stand with them till the resolution of the issue based on their aspirations.
