The match was played one day before than the screening in which Australia beat Pakistan. Therefore the H.C and staff of the high commission was very happy and in high spirit. Cricket is an important factor in increasing the bilateral relations. Australia is a unique country. At one side it is a continent and at the other side it is an island too. We faced water issue and solved it. Australia shares its experiences in water management with Pakistan as here the water problem also exists.

Certainly the question of Australian team’s visit to Pakistan could not be avoided. The High Commissioner replied that she tried a lot and now the Acting H.C Mr Brek Betley will continue on this task.

She said that Pakistan has tremendous opportunities in trade sector. The most important sector is education. 13 thousand Pakistani students are studying in Australia.
