Governor Tashkent Meets Senior Minister Punjab | Sides Discuss Cooperation in Tourism, Heritage, Culture | Delegation visits Lahore Fort

ISLAMABAD: Monitoring Desk – Under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Punjab has initiated the preparation of a joint agreement with Uzbekistan to promote trade, investment, and exports.

Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb had a productive meeting with the Governor of Tashkent Region Zoir Toirovich Mirzaev and the Uzbek delegation to strengthen cooperation in agriculture, livestock, food, pharmaceuticals, tourism, culture, and industry.

Both sides also agreed to form a joint working committee to enhance collaboration in culture and heritage, while exploring new avenues for investment in technology, infrastructure, energy, education, and skills development.

Maryam Aurangzeb said , we welcome this partnership and the shared commitment to deeper economic and cultural ties between Punjab and Uzbekistan.

The delegation visited Lahore Fort by night that is an eye catching scene for the tourists who like historical sights.

Maryam Aurangzeb and high officials of Punjab led them to different parts of the fort and briefed them about the history of the fort as well as the efforts of Punjab gov to preserve this precious heritage site of Moghal Era of United India.

The delegation had Iftar at Shahi Fort.
