ISLAMABAD : Monitoring Desk – A high-level official delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Governor of Tashkent H.E. Mirzaev Zoir Toirovich, visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol welcomed the delegation.
Uzbek Ambassador H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev Khakimovich, LCCI Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, Vice President Khurram Lodhi, SAARC Chamber Vice President Mian Anjum Nisar, and Executive Committee members Firdous Nisar, Rana Shabban Akhtar, Rana Muhammad Nisar, Iftikhar Ahmed, Aamir Ali, Chaudhry Mohsin Basheer, Syed Hasan Raza, Waqas Aslam, and Ali Imran.
The Uzbek delegation included Governor of Akhangaran District Bahram Jan Turaev, Governor of Quyichirchik District Akmal Arslanovich, Regional Head of Tashkent Chamber of Commerce Abdulrasul Abdurashidovich, Deputy Head of Investment, Industry & Trade Umid Obidullaev, Governor’s Advisor Dilshed Rasulov, Deputy Harshid Nooruddin, and representatives from various Uzbek companies.
The meeting featured detailed discussions on enhancing trade, investment, industrial cooperation, and regional economic ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

The Embassy shared that, in cooperation with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized the Uzbekistan–Pakistan Business Forum dedicated to presenting the investment potential of the Tashkent region.
The event was attended by the Governor of the Tashkent region, Zoir Mirzaev, representatives of the business community of Punjab, as well as more than 120 entrepreneurs and representatives of major companies from Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
As part of the forum, presentations on the region’s investment opportunities were delivered, followed by B2B meetings. As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on the implementation of a number of mutually beneficial joint projects.
Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev is confident that such initiatives will further contribute to expanding economic cooperation and strengthening the friendship between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
