The victims of Park View City of Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan have fulfilled the requirement for the National Accountability Bureau NAB investigation into the affairs of the housing society where the majority of the investors are not satisfied, feel exploited and fear their investments have been looted.
NAB requires 100 complaints to start investigation in case of a fraud in public investments including the housing societies and the same are mostly the dens of this corruption in Pakistan. Or in the shape of embezzlements , corruption the worth should be above 500 Million.
The victims of PVC have submitted 144 complaints online at the concerned portal of the NAB. Their total investment is 1170 Million rupees. From both sides, the case qualifies for intervention of NAB.
Most of the victims have launched complaints that they have not received numbers of plots even let alone the plot allotments. If some investors have got the numbers , the land is not developed and villages still exist there.
Inside sources reveal that PVC is in litigation with the local villagers on the acquiring of their lands. After C Block , all blocks are to be developed at disputed lands while PVC has betrayed most of the land owners there.
Interestingly, the PVC side has neither contacted the complainants to convince them nor has shared its stance on the matter. This state of affairs at PVC speaks a lot about the bad state of affairs at this housing society.
How can a sitting minister remain indifferent to such cases ? The answer is , accountability is the least thing done in the country. The powerful with influence and bribes are issued clean chit and the victims are forced to leave the justice on Allah only.
NAB will hold open hearing on 02 July and take decision to initiate investigation or send a letter to the sitting, powerful minister in the gov of Pakistan with support from Big House as he left Imran Khan in lurch and strengthened one page system in the country with no opposition in a country that claims to be a democracy.
Abdul Aleem Khan is basically a realtor that accumulated money selling files of plots in Lahore and contributed huge donations to Imran Khan becoming one of the two ATMs of Chairman PTI. He is not head of the political party Istehkam e Pakistan Party that is likely to take the government in Azad Kashmir.
Elections in AJK are due in late July and on the first day of the month many local leaders and candidates of PMLN and PPP met Abdul Aleem Khan and joined his party. This clearly shows that the Big House has conveyed the message to all that a new government in AJK will be formed by Aleem’s party.
Therefore, it is feared by the complainants of PVC housing that the case would be dealt with in some other way rather than starting an investigation and summoning Aleem Khan.
