ISLAMABAD : 13 July 2026 – Islamabad Serena Hotels held annual Mango Festival in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistan Fruits and Vegetable Exporters, Importers Association introducing different types of mangoes produced in Pakistan to a diversity of the guest from various walks of life including international community.
Serena Hotels hosts such events in connection with its public and cultural diplomacy. Chief Guest at the Mango Festival was Secretary Foreign Affairs , Ambassador Amna Baloch while Chairman of the association also graced the event himself to apprise the guests about the variety of mangoes available in Pakistan.
The guests visited and tasted the fruit included Governor of KP Faisal Karim Kunddi, Spokesperson MOFA Amb Tahir Andrabi, Additional Secretary MOFA Amb Hamid Asghar Khan, Dean of Diplomatic Corp Amb Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of Cuba,Mauritius, Nigera, Rwanda, South Africa and other countries. UN Resident Coordinator Mohammad Yahya was also present.
Amb Amna Baloch in her address appreciated the efforts of Serena Hotels in promotion of culture and tourism of Pakistan to the world community.
CEO Serena Hotels Aziz Bolani welcomed the guests and shed light on the public, cultural and sports diplomacy of the Serena Hotels.
Mrs Aziz Bolani and her team decorated the hall with the colors of mangoes and presented mangoes in various forms like cutlets and ice creame.
Malaysian High Commission held a special stall where the traditional food of the country was available to the taste of the guests. The ladies of High Commission enthusiastically introduced the national dishes to the visitors on the stall.
