The Yemeni Government, and after six years of dealing with these coup militias, confirms that classifying this militia as a terrorist organization will not disrupt the political process to reach a comprehensive political solution but this decision will force the Houthi militia leaders to engage seriously in the negotiations to reach a comprehension peace and will provide a trump card to force the Houthis to accept a political solution.

    • The Yemeni Government understands the concerns expressed by some countries and organizations, especially those participate in relief operations in Yemen, and reminds on this regard that the continuous and blatant intervention of the Houthis impeded the humanitarian relief efforts in Yemen and exacerbated the suffering of citizens in the areas under their control in particular, which was mentioned in a number of reports of International Organizations operating in Yemen.
