The expert on youth and women empowerment Ms Eliso Paraiso shared her experiences and knowledge as keynote speaker at the 2nd International Conference on Chemical Sciences, hosted by Shah Abdul Latif University Khaipur from 11 to 13 May 2026.Her message was clear and urgent: investing in girls’ education and supporting women in science, technology, and innovation is not optional, it is a condition for development.
This is precisely the mission that OIC-COMSTECH carries forward through its dedicated programs for women scientists: scholarships, short and long-term training, and international mobility opportunities.
Today more than ever, OIC member states, and African countries in particular, must consistently and resolutely invest in their talent.
The development we speak of will not come from charity. It will come from the skills, the action, and the resilience of our youth and our women.
She was confident that this emerging collaboration with OIC-COMSTECH will pave the way for many impactful programs across our member states.
