Islamabad: Ambassador of China to Pakistan Mr. Nong Rong has been appointed Assistant Foreign Minister by the government of his country. His new assignment has been welcomed by his friends in Pakistan. Qaiser Nawab, an international expert on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and a prominent youth leader, today extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Nong Rong on his appointment as Assistant Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China.
Mr. Nawab praised Mr. Nong Rong’s contributions to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Pakistan and China, especially during his previous role as the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan. He noted that Mr. Nong Rong’s leadership and dedication to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects under the BRI framework would play a crucial role in expediting their progress and further enhancing the brotherhood between the two countries.
“Mr. Nong Rong’s appointment as Assistant Foreign Minister is a testament to his expertise and achievements in promoting bilateral relations and advancing the interests of both China and Pakistan,” said Mr. Nawab. “I have no doubt that he will continue to be a strong advocate for the further enhancement of our relationship and the expansion of the BRI,” he added.
Mr. Nawab also expressed his confidence that Mr. Nong Rong would truly represent and advocate the Chinese government and President Xi Jinping’s vision of “Together for a shared future,” which aims to bring sustainable development to the world. He emphasized that Mr. Nong Rong’s appointment would truly benefit Pakistan’s relations with China in all spheres and will pave the way for a brighter future for the people of both countries.
