TASHKENT: The Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Ahmed Farooq addressed the students of International Relations at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS),In a solemn ceremony, the Embassy of Pakistan, Tashkent and the University signed a Roadmap for cooperation aimed at strengthening academic exchanges, research collaboration, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
The Roadmap was signed by the Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Ahmed Farooq and Rector of the TSUOS, Dr. Gulchexra Rikhsiyeva.
The Roadmap underscores a strategic objective to enhance mutual understanding, deepen historical ties, advance scholarly collaboration and people-to-people contacts.
The signing ceremony concluded with a pledge to launch initial joint activities within the next academic year, including guest lectures, faculty exchanges, and joint webinars between the universities of Pakistan and TSUOS.

Ambassador offered expert perspectives on bilateral relations, regional dynamics, and avenues for collaboration between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
The lecture examined historical trajectories, economic links, and political cooperation between the two nations, with attention to regional security, trade, and cultural diplomacy.
Students engaged in a lively Q&A session, exploring topics such as regional connectivity, economic cooperation, and the role of universities in enhancing people-to-people to contacts.
The Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Ahmed Farooq visited Urdu Club created at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), underscoring the importance of language education and cross-cultural dialogue in deepening Pakistan-Uzbekistan ties.
The Ambassador observed club activities and met with students and faculty. The students greeted the Ambassador with a song in Urdu. The visit highlighted the role of language clubs in fostering intercultural understanding, expanding academic opportunities, and supporting bilateral relations.
The Ambassador emphasized the value of student-led cultural initiatives and announced support for future Urdu Club events, guest lectures, and exchange.
