Balochistan has become a No Go Province for Punjabis whoever they are , Uniform or Non Uniform, Rich or Poor, Mill Owners or just Laborers. Last month 11 were gunned down near Nushki on road including 7 from Punjab Mandi Baha ud Din 2 from Gujranwala. And last night (between Wednesday and Thursday 09 May)7 Punjabi workers of barber shop were shot while asleep near Gawader. Matter of fact is, Afghanistan now looks safer than Balochistan.
The situation in Balochistan seems out of control of the Police and other security forces. They themselves feel unsafe there.Gawader colony was attacked by terrorists in March also when the security thwarted the attack. Hundreds of officials and personnel of security forces mainly Pakistan Army have been martyred there in the line of their duty.
Notable is , the massacre conducted on 09 May when the most popular political party PTI is holding protests in the memory of 09 May 2023 when the workers of PTI jammed Pakistan against actions of establishment on their party and the leader. Military alleged PTI workers stormed into the residences of military officers including one corp commander in Lahore.
But the same corp commander was relieved of service for not having conformity to the allegations on PTI.Spokesperson of Military again came on limelight to again blame PTI for subversive activities and warned the party if not apologize for its “wrong doings”.
It means power of military is gathered against a political party in Pakistan. While the state of security in the state is like this , gun men appear God knows from where suddenly, spill the blood of innocent and disappear without any check and balance. The latest such incident is in Gawader, the most protected area in Balochistan, at a residential area near the Fish Harbour . The victims are from Khanewal district, Punjab.

Balochistan Liberation Army , a terrorist organization accepted the responsibility of Nushki Massacre but no one has claimed the Gawader Massacre of Punjabis so far.

The Police is trying to relate the heinous act of terrorism to their job as if it was result of some job rivalry. It is common in Police in all provinces of Pakistan to mitigate the severity of the incident and shift the nature towards mutual enmities instead of accepting their own failures in maintaining law and order. Police stations are closed in the evening to whole night. Police personnel is not available till dawn and in the meanwhile the terrorists are free to do whatever they want where ever, whenever with whoever.
Pakistanis are always fed with the long claims that the terrorism has been controlled and the terrorists are at the run, we have broken their back etc but the reality on the ground is terrorism is on the rise with the passage of time and now even the national political leaders state in the rallies that the state is not safe for the citizens as well as leaders of the state.
In the meanwhile three Army Chiefs availed extensions promising to nip this evil in the bud but they spent their terms mostly fixing the politicians and not the terrorists. General Musharraf , General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani and General Qamar Javed Bajwa were the hope of the nation for the safety of their lives and security of their children but the situation went worsening only despite Pakistan spent 5 Billion Dollars on the Iron fence on the border with Afghanistan to stop what the authorities allege infiltration of TTP from Afghanistan.
