Maulana Hamid ul Haq , head of Jamiat Ulama i Islam (Sami ul Haq group) his son are among 7 martyred in a blast during Juma prayers today at his own Madrassa “Dar ul Uloom Haqqania” in Akora Khattak, Dera Ismail Khan. Several are severely injured who have been referred to Peshawar hospitals.
The death toll is higher than what the authorities are confirming because there were hundreds of worshipers when the blast occurred. KP officials say the blast was suicide and it was hard to spot the bomber in large number of students of madrassah.
On 2 November 2018, Sami-ul-Haq (Father of Hamid ul Haq) was stabbed multiple times at around 7:00 pm PST at his residence in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi. He was taken to the nearby Safari Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Amir of JUI (F) Maulana Fazl ur Rehman escaped two attempts on his life so far. Many politicians of KP including Bashir Balour and only son of Mian Iftekhar Hussain of ANP are among the victims of terrorism in this worst hit province of Pakistan.
Matter of more fear is that, the blast took precious lives in the start of holy month of Ramzan. It is apprehended that the terrorists have conspired more attacks in KPK and Balochistan, the two already worst hit provinces of Pakistan.
But, further disturbing point is Islamabad where the main highways and roads are mostly blocked by none other than the administration itself. Here at the center of the capital city , in Abpara where the head office of ISI is situated, even there , the situation is out of control due to arrest of Ume Ehsan, mother of Abdul Rasheed Ghazi of Lal Masjid.
The roads to Lal masjid have been blocked with barbed wires in the capital city. This portrays a black picture of the country where , some areas in the federal capital are no go areas.
