Islamabad: 05 March 2023 -Another story of malpractices in National Commission for Human Rights is that the Chairperson Ms Rabia Javeri Aagha took two years early retirement from the post of Secretary Ministry of Human Rights at the end of 2021 only to grab the position of Chairperson NCHR for what this scribe has already exposed in previous story dated 28 Feb 2023. As Chairperson NCHR, she tricky/illegally secured lucrative salary with perks and privileges of a Justice while pension was already safe. Here she could avail pension of federal secretary plus a package of a justice instead of MP 1 scale that is the legal package for a chairperson of a commission.
One can see her ID card or service record for the confirmation of above noted reality. She had at least two years service as federal secretary when she resigned from the post on her wish and will.
It further proves that she was already prepared to catch the next train to the top position of government commission. This is not the case of enjoying extra package on the expense of public money but it is a clear cut case of conflict of interest as well.
She herself was the federal secretary of the same ministry under the same the NCHR was working. It means “All was in the Family”
This is not one and only case of looting this already financially default rather bankrupt nation. Thousands of such cases are present here to further drown this country into the ocean of selfishness of the influential people.
The story of injustice and self centered policies in the Ministry of Human Rights during the Previous Pious regime does not end here. The status quo in the present government of PDM for last 11 months holds this regime responsible as well for the wrong doings done in the ministry.
Minister Riaz Peerzadah is expected to raise this issue with the Prime Minister if he himself can not take a bold step to not only correct the package of Chairperson to MP1 scale but to remove her from the post as well. How she can deliver or secure the rights of human of this poor nation when she is heavily and illegally charging them to fill her own house.
As long as, secretary Min HR, Afzal Latif is concerned, this scribe already noted that he is over burdened more with the respect of a colleague (Chairperson) than his own responsibility of taking good care of legal matters and public money.
