Deputy Speaker Pakistan Pays Rich Tributes to National Leader of Azerbaijan

Baku/ Islamabad :16 May 2023 – Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani, while addressing a special session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku on Tuesday, paid heartfelt tribute to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the need to further strengthen Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations.

He expressed these views while speaking on the occasion of participating in a special event organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev on a special invitation from the Speaker of Azerbaijan.Parliamentarians of Azerbaijan and international representatives also participated in this special event.

Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani thanked the Speaker and Members of Parliament of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan for their warm welcome and hospitality to his parliamentary delegation.

He highlighted the important role of his national leader in strengthening the economy and establishing an efficient public administration to lead Azerbaijan on the path of development and prosperity.

Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani mentioned the long-standing friendly and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and said that the people of Pakistan and Azerbaijan have deep attachment and love for each other.

He paid rich tribute to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and acknowledged his extraordinary role in taking the relations between the two countries and relations with Pakistan to new heights. He appreciated Azerbaijani leadership and unwavering commitment to his people.
