FIA Registers Case of Corruption Against former President, Secretary of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Housing Society

Former President Fazal Hussain and Secretary Siraj ul Khateeb of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Employees Cooperative Housing Society have been found forgery, embezzlement and wrongly benefiting their finances at the cost of the allottees and the society.

Federal Investigation Agency Corporate Crime Circle Police Station has registered a case against both accused and their accomplices. Chaudhary Bashaarat and Nasir Hayat Butt had approached to FIA that in 2017,the above mentioned accused violated the approved Layout Plan of the Society. They sub-divided and commercialized the residential plots.

They illegally sub divided plot No A-102 measuring 1 Kanal into 4 plots of 5 Marla in violation of RDA & Society’s by laws. They further illegally sub divided plot No B-179, measuring 1 Kanal and converted it into commercial plots. Both accused benefitted two accomplices named Qamar Zaman and Moazam Ali Malik. Qamar Zaman sold out 12 Marla of Polt No B-179 as commercial to Azam Ali and Shakeel Anwer Bajwa. Remaining 8 Marla were sold out to Azam Ali and Muhammad Anwer separately. The accused pocketed the money that was commercial value of residential plots .

In addition to above, the accused Fazal Hussain, on his own, illegally executed an agreement with accused Raja Muhammad Younas for purchase of 5 Kanal land at price pkr 15 Lakh per Kanal in 2017 without approval of Registrar Cooperative Societies and management of the society. The then President of the Society payed 35 Lakh pkr to Raja Younus in advance through cheque No 6564725 on 28 July 2017 but till date not a single inch of land has been transferred in the name of society despite lapse of 4 years.

They embezzled the advance amount and caused loss to the society. The crime circle after thorough inquiry into the complaint has found the above mentioned persons of responsible for the crime committed. Case has been registered and further investigation has been started.
