Prime Minister is supposed to be Dangerous for Ring Road Robbers as well. One of them NOVA city returns with new trap for small investors in the real estate market. NOVA is publishing big front page advertisement of 3.5 Marlah new project while the group is accused of selling 10 thousand confirmed and further many thousand suspicious files without having land in its previous launch.
The buyers of those fake files find no where to go for justice and recovery because every culprit is at large with the same perks and positions.
Commissioner Gulzar in his inquiry report found NOVA city housing scheme as manipulating it’s proximity with Ring Road just to attract the investor. NOVA was allowed to sell 20 thousand files but it marketed 30 thousand files that is forgery and plunder of public money.
Gulzar report confirmed that Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwer Khan and his son Mansoor Ali Khan MNA were hands in gloves with the real estate mafia of NOVA city’ owner Junaid Chaudhary.
Commissioner Rawalpindi, the then, Captain R Mahmood was found main supporter of the fraud real estate and political Mafia.
It is a story of looting the public on vast scale with support of government administration and ministers of the cabinet of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a torch bearer of transparency and anti corruption and accountability. No one was held accountable in this multi billion plunder of small investors money.
Punjab Government , in 2017, during Shahbaz Sharif tenure , designed the project of Ring Road , 40 Kilometers around Rawalpindi city to shift the traffic. China agreed to support the project with 400 Million dollars. PTI government wrapped up the project first but later the players of big games entered into the scene with their money making schemes.
The route of Ring Road Rawalpindi was altered to include Attock Loop, increasing the length of the road to 66 KM. The plunderers knew that how much they are about to fetch from the project.
Therefore they offered the government that the housing societies will bear the expenditures of construction of the road. This clearly indicates that how much they looted if they were ready to spend a part on road construction.
NOVA city was registered overnight and Civial Aviation Authority issued the NOC. Ghulam Sarwar Khan was Minister CAA at that time who used his control and influence on CAA to release the NOC. Ghulam Sarwar Khan’s son MNA Mansoor Ali Khan is partner in NOVA.
The society had 970 Kanals land but the prepared 20 thousand files in first phase, more than land in possession. All were sold in one month time. NOVA maps showed it connected with Ring Road that helped attract the investor.
The response was overwhelming. NOVA prepared 10 thousand more files that were purely fake with respect to land. These extra files were also sold out in no time.
Cap R Mohammad Mehmood, the then Commissioner Rawalpindi was looking after the affairs in favor of NOVA. He posted an officer named Waseem Ali Tabish in grade 17 in Attock district illegally.
Waseem was front man of Commissioner. He purchased land of worth 5 Billion PKR at the directions of Cap R Mehmood. Two brothers of Cap R Mehmood are also partners in the scam.
The culprits in Rawalpindi administration were Cap R Mohammad Mehmood, Deputy Commissioner Anwar ul Haqq, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue)Cap R Shoaib Ali, Assistant Commissioner Sadar Ghulam Abbas.
Three former military officers were also held responsible for the giant robbery. They include Maj Gen R Aslam Ishaq, Col R Asim Ibrahim Raja, Col R Masood. They were serving in NOVA and other societies. It is very common in Real Estate business since long in Pakistan that the companies hire retired military officers on hefty amounts to use their influence in favor of their business.
Commissioner Gulzar submitted his inquiry report in May 2021. Since then no one has been arrested or prosecuted. Commissioner Mehmood was held for two months and then no one knows where he go went gone.
We have a government that is always threatening some political leaders blaming them of looting public money. We have a National Accountability Bureau as well with chairman of former Supreme Court Justice who is always boasting of recovering the robbed money. But we have not seen any action against these white collar robbers so far.
Mr. Prime Minister – you are dangerous for selected persons only? or for every Looter ?
