How Important is the Accused for Whom an Anchor & MNA be Present @ Police Station?

Islamabad; 22 June 2020 – Ramna Police Islamabad has received an application which states that when an anchorperson was pressurizing  police and the applicant party in favor of an accused of fraud , MNA Mansoor Ali Khan , son of Federal Minister Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan was also present in favor of the accused.

Ejaz Cheema, reporter online news agency has sought protection from Sardar Zaryaab the accused in case No 236/20 , Javed Chaudhary the anchorperson Express News and MNA Mansoor Hayat, as the supporters of the accused.

Ejaz Cheema reports in the application that he was present in PS Ramna with his friend Raja Kashif ,reporter 92 News and Omar Minhas , the applicant in the case. ASP Rana Abdul Wahab was taking side of the accused on the pressure of above mentioned people who were also present at the occasion.

He alleged that Mansoor Hayat Khan was with the accused party. He further says that Omar Minhas  asked to transfer the inquiry from Rana Abdul Wahab ASP that was agreed upon by the ASP.

Raja Kashif and friends ,on settling the inquiry issue, were leaving the PS when Javed Chaudhary shouted at the accomplices of Sardar Zaryaab to not let them go. The accused Sardar Zaryab, his father Abdul Majeed and other people attacked us in the presence of police and MNA Mansoor Hayat Khan.

Here it is worth mentioning as very unfortunate that not only our anchorpersons but our parliamentarians are also doing what does not suit them. Ghulam Sarwar Khan is federal minister having national duties but his son is involved in such type of activities. Mansoor Hayat’s uncle Siddiq Khan was also very respected politician not only in his area but in political and journalist circles of Islamabad Rawalpindi as well. Mansoor Hayat is expected to learn from his uncle’s heritage.

Here a question arises  “how important an accused of fraud is, that an anchorperson and a member of parliament consider it mandatory to be involved in a scuffle at Police Station and that none else than the journalists”?
