Immediate Steps are Needed for the Welfare of Special Persons : Shawaz Baloch

Lahore : The head of the School of Motivation, Lieutenant Commander (retd) Shawaz Baloch, has said that the government should take immediate steps for the welfare, financial assistance and economic independence of special people, on the occasion of International Day of Special Persons (PAF) Falcon Housing.

Addressing the function organized by Society Club Lahore as the chief guest, he said that the government should create facilities for the special people so that they too could join the national mainstream. In addition to providing free medical wheelchairs, hearing aids, computers, laptops and other necessary equipment so that special people can also play their role in social and economic development.

Urging parents to provide technical education to their special children, Shawaz Baloch said that reserved seats should be reserved for them in the Senate / National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies for effective representation of special persons. Due to the increase in the number of people, special funds should be allocated in the federal and provincial budgets to compensate their deprivations – which will be spent on their welfare – and a separate division on an emergency basis to solve their problems should be created.

Other participants including Air Marshal Retired Sajid were also present. The participants in their speech said that special people deserve special attention and the government should patronize them so that these special people do not let any of their weaknesses get in the way.
