Imran Putin Discuss Kashmir,Middle East,Afghanistan,Iran Situation

BISHKEK (Kyrgyzstan), Jun 14 (Monitoring+ APP):Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Russian President Viladimir Putin in a brief meeting on sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit here discussed Afghanistan issue, situation in Middle East and Iran, and took the Russian President into confidence on Kashmir’s situation.

Talking to media persons here he said, the Russian President appreciated Pakistan’s role and efforts for promoting regional peace and security.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday 13 June also held an informal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of 19th meeting of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek.During the dinner hosted by Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, the Pakistan premier and President Putin shook hands and inquired well-being of each other.

TV footage showed Prime Minister Imran standing next to Russian strongman.Both the leaders are seen exchanging smiles and engaging in brief conversation while posing for cameras.The conversation between Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Putin continues as they leave after having been photographed with other world leaders.
