Ambassador of Iran , H.E Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam has made it clear that Iran is strong , Iran is standing , Iran surviving and Iran will defeat the US and Israel. Iran is protecting the lands of Arabs and Arabs give military bases to the US and Arabs are bringing resolutions against Iran. He has questioned why you did not bring any resolution on the killing of innocent children in the school?
The Ambassador was delivering his keynote welcome speech at an Iftar dinner hosted to mark the Quds Day in Islamabad.
The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was named “#InternationalQudsDay” at the initiative of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA). This day is a symbol of the unified protest of the Islamic world and freedom-seekers of the world against the usurpation of the historical land of #Palestine and the creation of a fake, occupying, terrorist and racist entity in the heart of the Islamic world and the West Asian region.
Quds Day is a symbol of the natural and moral opposition of the world to the violation of the right of a nation to determine its own destiny, and a sign of the awakening of human conscience against organized oppression and violence against its fellow human beings.
The embassy of Iran observed this day with a large number of guests from Pakistan and international community despite there is always a security threat from Israel who have hit many leaders and workers of freedom movements in Gaza, Tehran, Lebanon and other places using their hi-tech devices as well as with consumer tech like pagers and mobile phones.
Present were politicians and parliamentarians like Chairman Standing Committee of Senate of Pakistan on Defence, Talha Mehmood, Opposition leader in National Assembly Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Pir Nurul Haq Qadri, Raja Nasir Abbas MNA, from Gov Coordinator to PM on Tourism Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, Parliamentary Secretary National Assembly Farah Naz Akbar and many others.
From diplomatic circle , the Dean of Diplomatic Corp, Ambassador Turkmenistan Atadja Movlamov, Acting Ambassador of Afghanistan Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb whose countries are the neighbours of Iran, Ambassador of Tajikistan Sharifzoda Yousuf Toir, High Commissioner Malaysia Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, DHM Indonesia Rehmat Hindiarta, Russian, African diplomats and DAs.
Asif Luqman Qazi son of former Amir e Jamaat e Islami Pakistan, Mian Asalm of Jamaat e Islami, Abdullah Hameed Gul son of former DG ISI Lt Gen R Hameed Gul, Pir of Bari Imam were present.
Spokesperson of Hamas Khalid Qadoumi also participated in the event.
Ambassador Moghaddam relating his view that Iran is fighting the war for Arab lands , presented an interesting example of Arab Countries ;
” A wrestler was fighting with a shopkeeper. A passerby forbade the wrestler to use his strength on the poor shopkeeper. The wrestler started to fight with the man. The shopkeeper , seeing the fight for a few minutes , says to both of them ” take your fight to somewhere else ! It is my business time.”
The Ambassador said, Arab countries are doing the same saying take this war away from their doors.
Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam questioned the Americans and media , “If Americans are not there in Arab countries , why are they receiving coffins of their dead bodies from there?”
He said, Iran has a solid governance base and the structure is not standing on a single person. Iran elected the Supreme Leader on the fourth day of aggression. New leader (Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei) is the copy of his father, not only in appearance but in wisdom and courage as well.
The Ambassador made it clear to Arab countries that Iran did not want a single inch of any country.
On Arabs’ resolution against Iran strikes at UNSC, the Ambassador said, We already clarified that Iran would hit the US military installations in Arab countries that were used to attack Iran.
He asked Arab countries why you could not bring a resolution on the killing of innocent children in schools by US Israel? Where were all of you when more than 70 thousand innocent citizens were martyred in Gaza?
Dr Moghaddam recalled, these Arab countries were behind Iraq when Iran was under attack but they were nowhere when Iraq was destroyed by the US.
Ambassador questioned , where are the two states ? They agreed upon it but where is the solution? They bring new things again and again but do not establish two states with Palestine.
He said, Iran will eliminate US influence from the region and after that restore close relations with Arab countries.
Khalid Qudaumi said, this is the first Ramadan when prayers have not been offered at Masjid e Aqsa.
Allama Nasir Abbas MNA , in his address, said , Pakistan needs to learn from Iran that it is a nation in true sense. He hit US hard by calling them Rapist, Gamblers and Epstein files. He said , Iran is a civilization that survives, what is US civilization?
He said, Israelis are in bunkers while Iranians are on the roads. This is the difference. The USA will soon break into pieces. If the USA is not there, Hamas only can deal with Israel.
Asif Luqman Qazi said, living with Jews is possible but not with Zionists.
Senator Talha Mehmood said , the massacre done in Iran is extremely condemnable and the most cruel act. Muslim world should learn a lesson from it. Pakistan is nuclear power. Muslim world could have benefitted from this power but not utilizing it.
He said they are implementing divide and rule formulas in Muslim countries. Trump took $8 trillion from Arab countries and what Arabs got in return? He appealed to the Muslim countries to unite and tackle this combined threat together.
The Quds Day event was a beautiful demonstration of religious harmony among all sects of Islam in Islamabad expressing solidarity with Iran.
