Kyiv Ukraine Sets Example of Saving Humanity by Fighting the Pandemic Jointly by All Faiths

Kyiv Ukraine has set an example for the whole world community by fighting COVID-19 raising above all differences of beliefs and faiths, unifying the strength for a common cause of saving the humanity from the pandemic. Ar – Rahma Masid Center, Archimandrite of St Michael’s Golden Domed Monastery (Orthodox Church of Ukraine) Lavrentiy, Head of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Sviatoslave have jointly arranged vaccination of the local citizens at Masjid Center on Nov 23 2021.

The information was shared by the Ukraine Embassy Islamabad during a working meeting of Ambassador H.E Markiian Chuchuk with Editor Tazeen Akhtar of Pakistan in the World on 24 Nov 2021. Dr Olena Bordilovska was also present.

The center will be opened daily from 9 am to 4 am. Vaccines will be available here for all volunteers from the age of 18 as well as for teenagers, 12+ if they have all the routine vaccinations according to the calendar of preventive vaccinations previously.

The Ministry of health emphasizes that vaccination against COVID-19 in Ukraine is supported by the representatives of all confessions.

Ar-Rahma Center is a complex of Masjid, University and other facilities for the Muslim community of Ukraine.
