Islamabad; Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Taalatbek Masadykov visited Pakistan and called on the Foreign Secretary Mr. Sohail Mahmood. Ambassador Ulanbek Totuiaev accompanied him in the meeting that was held on 22 Oct 2021.
During the conversation, the sides discussed the issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani bilateral relations, situation in and around Afghanistan, issues of regional security.
Both sides noted the importance of regional projects CASA-1000, TAPI and on construction of the railway between Pakistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan for stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan and the need to unite the efforts of the international community to ensure regional security.
