Maryam Mujtaba has made history by becoming the first woman to achieve the status of a commercial pilot in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK).
Her accomplishment marks a significant milestone in the field of aviation within the region. She successfully acquired her commercial pilot license following rigorous aviation training in Rawalpindi, supplemented by additional flight training at Century Air, a prestigious flight academy located in New Jersey, U.S.A.
This achievement not only highlights her personal success but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring female aviators in AJK and beyond.
Maryam Mujtaba from Muzaffarabad is Azad Kashmir’s first woman to become a commercial pilot. With her marvelous achievements, she made the whole AJK proud. She has become a role model and a true inspiration for the young female students of Azad Kashmir.
Maryam Mujtaba joined Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) back in 2011 as a cadet pilot. After receiving her training from academies in Rawalpindi and New Jersey (USA), she completed her flying hours through various domestic flights.
