This is most probably for the first time in the history of the assassinations of high profile people of Iran that the authorities are not pointing finger to anyone and stand at the conclusion that it was accident. World media , especially the free media is flooded with the speculations that it is not accident, it is something else. Frankly , even we are not convinced yet that it was an accident. Iranian officials respect this opinion as well wishers but stand at their conclusion that it was accident.
The same was stated by Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam on 28 May 2024 in his address at specially held memorial ceremony for the martyrs of Iran by the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ambassador said that Irani Joint Staff officials have shared the information that it was an accident. The weather was not fine and the helicopter struck against a hill there. The experts are examining the black box.
The speakers at a specially held memorial ceremony for the martyrs of Iran by the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran paid rich tributes to them and expressed their solidarity with Iran in this time of sorrow and grief. President Syed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussain Amirabdollahian & other companions embraced Shahadat in recent helicopter crash in the eastern province.
A large number of guest were present in the spacious hall of the National Insurance Corporation’s building in Islamabad. People from different walks of life including a big number of women attended the memorial ceremony and expressed their solidarity with government and people of Iran.
Chairman Milli Yakjehti Council Sahibzada Abul Khair and Amir of Tehreek e Jaffariya Pakistan Allama Sajid Naqvi also addressed the audience and shared their grief with the people of Iran.
Ambassador H.E Reza Amiri Moghadam delivered his keynote address in which he shed light on the services and contributions of President Raisi, FM Hussain Amirabdollahian and other martyrs for their country and the other nations that are facing hardships due to colonial mindset of USA and allies.
H.E Moghadam extended his sincere gratitude to Govt & people of Pakistan for their kind condolences & sympathy aftermath to the martyrdom of President Raisi, FM Hussain Amirabdollahian & other companions.
” President Raisi pledged his life for safety of Muslims from the expansionist designs of Xionists and the West. During his leadership, a strong defense front was constructed from Iran to Iraq, Syria,Palestine,Lebanon and Yemen. He always supported the Islamic deterrent forces in Palestine and at other places, Ambassador said.
H.E said that President Raisi’s foreign policy was successful and his 3 years tenure promoted the agenda of Islamic revolution and unity of Muslim World. His leadership added new enthusiasm among the people to carry forward the spirit of the teachings of Islam and Quran.
Ambassador recalled the blasphemous acts in the West including burning of hole Quran. He said that at the time President Raisi warned the perpetrators in his address to the General Assembly of UN. President Raisi defended the sentiments of the Muslim world in this International Forum.
He appreciated the people of Pakistan for their condolences and expression of solidarity with Iran. Here it is worth mentioning that the people of Pakistan warmly welcomed President Raisi in his recent visit only a few days before his martyrdom. The news of the accident of the President was heard in Pakistan with deep sorrow and grief.
