Pak France Business Forum Working on President Macron’s Visit to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: 25 Dec 2024 – French Ambassador to Pakistan Nicolas Galley has said that Pakistan and France currently have excellent diplomatic and political relations. Economic, trade and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and France will be further promoted. FPBF is planning to hold meetings with secretary and minister, paving the way to French President’s visit to  Pakistan in new year.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, Chairman of France-Pakistan Business Forum FPBF who called on him at the Embassy.
Ambassador said , ” France values ​​Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability. Many French companies are investing in Pakistan. Partnership between the private sectors of both countries will be promoted. The resumption of PIA flights will be result oriented in promotion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of public relations, and increasing cooperation in trade and economic sectors.”

“A large number of Pakistani students are studying in France. Visa facilities have been increased for Pakistani students. The establishment of the France-Pakistan Business Forum is important. The establishment of this forum has increased cooperation in the trade sector, shared the Ambassador.
Ambassador was hopeful that as a result of the recent meetings and consultations between the top leadership, a new era of cooperation will begin soon. He termed bilateral relations much better than before.

Sardar Zahoor Iqbal apprecited the efforts of the ambassador and said Ambassador Nicolas Galey have greatly improved the bilateral relations. Pakistani Ambassador to France Asim Iftikhar also played a key role in this regard.
He mentioned about the other office bearers of the org, President Haji Aslam, Secretary Yasir Khan, and Chief Coordinator Mian Atiq and said they are playing their constructive role at their part. We should play the role of a bridge between Pakistan and France and work to promote relations.
Sardar Zahoor  discussed cooperation between medium-sized business companies. He suggested that companies of Pakistani nationals in France may be facilitated by the embassies of both countries.
“These companies have technical expertise as well as machinery. We can take advantage of the opportunities available in Pakistan. We can work with these companies to produce high-quality dairy products at reasonable prices, he said.
