ISLAMABAD: PASTIC and COMSTECH joined hands towards building a common platform for launching collaborative activities in the relevant fields of mutual interest. Both organizations signed a memorandum of understanding for potential collaboration by facilitating in areas of combined growth for their beneficiaries at COMSTECH, Islamabad on December 5, 2023.
Chairman, Pakistan Science Foundation, Prof Dr. Shahid Mahmood Baig and Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary Mustafa (PBUH) Laureate H.I., S.I., T.I. Coordinator General COMSTECH signed the MoU in a ceremony held at COMSTECH Secretariat, Islamabad. Senior officials of PSF, PASTIC and COMSTECH attended this ceremony.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, Director General PASTIC said that PASTIC will extend the cooperation for resource sharing, and knowledge dissemination among libraries in member states through forming an alliance or consortium of libraries across OIC states.
