ISLAMABAD : Staff Report – President of Algeria, H.E Abdulmadjid Tebboune has said that Algeria has charted its course, prioritizing the strengthening of the national economy through major, structural, and integrated achievements within a strategic and ambitious development project.
He said this in his message on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Victory Day.
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May peace and blessings be
President addressing the citizens, said , ” On the 19th of March, we celebrate Victory Day, the day that marked the end of a colonial domination lasting more than a century and thirty years. It was a domination that epitomized the cruelty of settler-colonialism, devoid of all human values, steeped in slaughter, destruction, and plunder, and embodying the most heinous forms of aggression and brutality.”
” Yet, it stood trembling and shaken before the power of truth and the laws of the universe, which have, throughout history, always secured victory for those seeking the freedom that Allah has instilled in all of humanity. Allah Almighty granted victory to the Algerian people through a glorious and exalted Revolution whose flame will never be extinguished; a great and blessed Revolution whose memory will never fade, he added.
This Revolution was led by heroes who believed either in a free and dignified life or in death under the banner of martyrdom, so that Algeria might live (We rose up, for life or death, and resolved that Algeria must live). It was a Revolution embraced by a people deeply rooted in their land and fiercely protective of their identity, President said.
Recalling the history, the President shared, “From its inception in November 1954 to its conclusion, modern history bears witness to a victory that prevented even greater rivers of blood, tragedies, and systematic looting. The people who endured these trials are the same people who bear this sacred trust today, continuing the march guided by the message of the martyrs.”
” Today, our beloved Algeria faces the challenges of building economic resilience and strengthening the shields of its sovereignty amid turbulent regional and international conditions.”
On New Algeria with modern policies to strengthen the economy of the state, President said, ” Algeria has charted its course, prioritizing the strengthening of the national economy through major, structural, and integrated achievements within a strategic and ambitious development project.This project is being realized on the ground through sincere national will, as we remain vigilant in safeguarding the interests of the State and serving a people who believe in a victorious Algeria.”
On this 64th anniversary of Victory Day, we humbly pray for the souls of our noble martyrs and renew our pledge of loyalty to their mission.
Long live a free, proud, and independent Algeria; Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs;
Peace be upon you, and may the mercy and blessings of Allah Almighty be with you.”
