President of Turkmenistan Sends Humanitarian Aid Flight for Flood Victims of Pakistan

Islamabad: 05 Sep 2022 – President of Turkmenistan H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent a flight of humanitarian aid for flood victims and expressed solidarity with Pakistan in his messages to the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan. The flight was received by officials of Sindh government along with the ambassador of Turkmenistan H.E Atadjan Movlamov.

President of Turkmenistan sends messages of solidarity to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi, and Prime Minister H.E. Mr. M.M. Shehbaz Sharif.

The President said, “We are extremely saddened by the large-scale damages caused by the devastating floods in Pakistan.”

Following the centuries-old traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, the President of Turkmenistan initiated the donation of relief goods to the flood-affected People of Pakistan.

Today, a special cargo flight from Turkmenistan reached Karachi, delivering Turkmenistan’s humanitarian aid in the amount of 40,5 tons of relief goods, including textile items, clothing, blankets, food products, clean drinking water, medicines, medical supplies, and other items.
This humanitarian cargo flight is another confirmation of our nation’s friendly and brotherly relations.

President of Turkmenistan said, “I would like to express the solidarity of the People and Government of Turkmenistan with the People and Government of Pakistan. We stand with Pakistan at this challenging time.
