ISLAMABAD: 03 May 2024 – Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Shafiev Saidjon called on Federal Minister of Energy of Pakistan Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari at his office in the ministry.
During the meeting importance of implementation of energy project CASA-1000 for the countries of the region was stressed. The parties exchanged views on issues of strengthening multifaceted relations between the two countries, including expansion of cooperation in the field of water and energy and conducting the next session of Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
Furthermore, it was noted that Pakistan highly appreciates the initiatives and productive efforts of the top leadership of Tajikistan related to ensuring water and green energy worldwide.
