ISLAMABAD: 2 hours ago – A massive missile attack on Ukraine’s capital city has caused heavy damage to energy infrastructure affecting public life in the different areas of Kyiv. No loss of life has been reported untill this report was updated. Rescue work is being carries out and authorities are working on collection of more information about casualties if any
Early reports of damages are as under:
▪️Kyiv. The roof of a 5-story residential building caught fire. Falling debris near “Silpo” in Holosiivskyi district. On Rusanivka, debris fell on the park.
▪️ Odessa. Hits energy infrastructure. In the city, the electricity and water supply disappeared, and all electric transport stopped.
▪️ Mykolaiv. The hit of the Shahed in the residential building. 2 dead, 6 more injured.
▪️Rivne. Hit of energy infrastructure in the region. The light, water supply went out.
▪️ Kremenchuk, Poltava. There were explosions, now smoke is rising at the place of the supposed landing. In the area of emergency shutdowns
▪️ Volyn. Some hits in region. The energy infrastructure was damaged.
▪️ Vinnytsia region. Hits on critical infrastructure facilities.
▪️ Kryvyi Rig. Hits, blackout.
▪️Dnipro, there were explosions, problems with electricity in the city
▪️ Zaporozhye, critical infrastructure attacked
▪️ Uzhhorod, rocket fall
▪️Starkonstantyniv, strikes with cluster missiles
▪️Sumy, the light has partially disappeared
In the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Ivano-Frankivsk regions, blackout while emergency shutdowns in Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi have been reported. More details are pouring in.
Ukrainian News reported 3 days ago that the Russian occupiers had launched a combined missile-drone attack on Kyiv – for the first time in the last 73 days. Air defense forces destroyed several cruise missiles, several ballistic missiles and about a dozen drones that attacked the capital.
Ukraine’s air defence units were trying to repel a Russian air attack on Kyiv, the military administration of the Ukrainian capital said on Sunday. Reuters witnesses heard several blasts in what sounded like air defence units in operation.
