Consul General Attends Community Luncheon Honoring Federal and Provincial Ministers
New York : 27 July 2025 – The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, attended a luncheon hosted by the Pakistani American community in honor of the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and the Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce, Investment, and Skills, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain.
The event drew a large gathering of Pakistani Americans from diverse professional backgrounds, reflecting the community’s strong engagement with Pakistan’s development.
Addressing the gathering, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain underscored the vital role of overseas Pakistanis, describing them as a “valuable national asset.”
He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring maximum facilitation for Pakistanis living abroad and highlighted several progressive measures taken to address their needs.
Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain outlined Punjab’s investment-friendly policies, emphasizing that the provincial government is dedicated to creating an enabling environment for investors while ensuring essential amenities reach citizens at their doorsteps.
In his remarks, Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai warmly welcomed the dignitaries and lauded the contributions of overseas Pakistanis, noting that their efforts significantly advance the prosperity of both their adopted countries and their homeland.
