M’diq – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, chaired a reception on Wednesday afternoon at the M’diq-Fnideq (north of Morocco) to mark the 26th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the Throne of His glorious Ancestors.
At the outset of the ceremony, His Majesty the King saluted the Moroccan flag while the national anthem was played and a 21-gun salute was fired.
The Sovereign was then greeted by a number of Moroccan and foreign figures who came to extend their wishes to HM the King on this happy occasion.
The Sovereign was then greeted by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) Fouzi Lekjaa, and members of the women’s national football team, who led a brilliant campaign at the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
The King, accompanied by Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, then posed for a souvenir photo with the members of the women’s national football team.
The celebration by the Moroccan people today of the 26th anniversary of the enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI is a renewed opportunity for all the Nation’s components to reiterate their fidelity, loyalty, and unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne.
