LAHORE : Uzbekistan’s private airline Centrum Air has launched additional regular flights on the “Tashkent–Lahore–Tashkent” route. On April 21, the airline’s flight “SU 6561” successfully landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore at 06:30 local time.The inaugural flight operated at full capacity — both to Lahore and on the return to Tashkent.A special welcoming ceremony was held at Lahore Airport for the inaugural arrival from Tashkent, where the distinguished Chief Guest, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev, warmly welcomed Centrum Air to Pakistan. His presence highlighted the importance of this new route and the growing cooperation between the two countries.
Uzbekistan’s Honorary Consul in Punjab Najib Vohra, the management of Allama Iqbal International Airport, the aircraft commander and crew members, representatives of leading tourism companies, local media personnel, as well as passengers arriving from Tashkent and departing from Lahore.
Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev, speaking at the occasion said, ” Just a year and a half ago, there were no direct flights between our countries. Today, 6 regular flights per week are already in operation: 4 flights on the Tashkent – Lahore route. 2 flights on the Tashkent – Islamabad route and this is only the beginning.
The new service will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays. Ambassador shared , our next goal is to launch direct flights between Tashkent and Karachi. We are not just opening new routes — we are connecting people, economies, and the future of our nations , moving forward toward an even stronger and more dynamic partnership.

Uzbekistan is home to iconic destinations such as Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, which are increasingly attracting visitors from Pakistan.
In addition to group tourism, the route is expected to serve a diverse passenger base, including independent (FIT) travelers, students pursuing medical education, and religious tourism flows, particularly to the historic and spiritual centers of Samarkand and Bukhara.
Centrum Air is focused on expanding international connectivity and offering competitive, customer-oriented travel solutions across a growing network of destinations. The introduction of this route reflects the airline’s ongoing international expansion strategy. As part of this development, the airline has established its official representation in Pakistan in partnership with Gerry’s Group, a leading aviation services provider in the country.
Passengers will also benefit from onward connections via Tashkent to key international destinations such as Frankfurt, Guangzhou, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and multiple cities across Southeast Asia, positioning Tashkent as an increasingly attractive transit hub for regional and intercontinental travel.

Introductory fares for the Lahore–Tashkent route start from USD 149, making the route an attractive option for both leisure and business travelers. Tickets are now available for purchase via the airline’s official website, through its authorized sales partners, and at Gerry’s Group offices across Pakistan.
