Lahore : 20 Sep 2025 – The Vietnamese Embassy in Pakistan held the Decision Ceremony to appoint Mr. Rizwan Fareed, a prestigious businessman in Pakistan, as the first Honorary Consulate in Lahore and attended the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate Office of Vietnam.
The event was attended by Governor Punjab, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, leaders of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and many foreign union representatives in Lahore.
The appointment of Honorary Leader in Pakistan’s 2nd Largest City is a new step in expanding Vietnam’s diplomatic network in Pakistan, contributing to promoting political, economic, cultural and interpersonal cooperation between two countries.
