Bahria Town is again under extreme accountability process as it has been in the past many times and has been cleared the same many times. Malik Riaz Hussain was determined to come out safe and sound in the past and same is his temperament to the new phase of fixing the biggest and world known project of Pakistan. New year 2019 is very important in this regard as the chief justice of Supreme Court is retired in the first month of the New Year. Mr. Justice Saqib Nisar during a hearing offered Malik Riaz to pay 500 Billion PKR and all cases against him will be decided in his favor. These remarks spoke a lot about what the arm of Bahria Town is being twisted for. Here it is worth mentioning that Malik Riaz has already donated 50 Million PKR to Dam Fund.
Time will tell on which amount the agreement is done but one thing is confirm that courts cannot rule against the projects in which a large number of people are involved. Third party interests never allow the judges to punish or fine heavily or issue a ban on the projects.
Malik Riaz Hussain has done anything wrong in Karachi? He replies in No. He says I have brought Dubai and Abu Dhabi into Karachi. Bahria Town is the employer of more than 44 thousand workers and spends 10 to 20 Billion PKR monthly on its ongoing projects.
Bahria Town Karachi has completed 95% of work on theme park. Night Safari is ready to use. World’s third largest Masjid has been built. Schools and University are open. More than 7 thousand families shifted here. The number will increase to 10 thousand till June 2019. A road is also the part of project that will reduce the distance between Karachi main city to Bahria Town to a minimum of 25 minutes.
