Once upon a time, there was a country called “Gunda Land,” known for its oppressive and tyrannical rulers who were enemies of the people’s rights. Around the world, they were mocked, and it was often said, “If you want to witness true oppression, visit Gunda Land.” The rulers of Gunda Land were deeply concerned about their global infamy.
One day, the king called his cabinet together and asked, “Why are we infamous as the most tyrannical rulers? Do something to make people stop calling us oppressors.” A minister suggested, “Your Majesty, there is a solution. We can show the world what’s happening in Pakistan. They’ll see how innocent we are compared to them.”
The king immediately summoned media officials and ordered, “Show videos of Pakistan!” The videos began to play, and the scene shifted to D-Chowk, where people had gathered to demand their rights. Young individuals, merely seeking the fulfillment of their dreams, were being met with bullets. People were left astonished.
The king of Gunda Land addressed his people, “Look, we raise your taxes and occasionally cut off electricity, but look at Pakistan. Their rulers fire bullets at their own citizens!”
Initially, the people of Gunda Land couldn’t believe it. But when they saw protesters being met with bullets in response to their slogans, they thought, “Well, at least our rulers aren’t that bad.”
Even the land of D-Chowk seemed to be questioning in disbelief, “Were these people enemies? Were they terrorists? No, they were merely asking for their rights. Then why were bullets fired at them?”

The people of Gunda Land began to laugh. Someone commented, “Wow, what rulers! They protect themselves from their own citizens as if they’re fighting enemies.”
The rulers of Gunda Land were overjoyed with this opportunity. They declared, “Now the world will stop calling us oppressors because we’ve shown them that the real oppression is happening in Pakistan.”
Pakistani rulers tried to defend themselves, but the people of Gunda Land laughed louder and said, “Only you can call your own citizens enemies for demanding their rights.”
Observing this, the king of Gunda Land said to his people, “Look, we’ve always been cruel to you, but at least we don’t fire bullets. Be happy that you’re not in Pakistan!” The people, too, were relieved, saying, “At least our king is oppressive, but not insane.”
The moral of the story is that wherever the people’s rights are suppressed through the use of force, they never stop questioning. And if rulers want to avoid infamy, they just need to reference an incident from Pakistan—the world will believe them.
But one question remained unanswered:
Why was the bullet fired?
