Ambassador Kazakhstan Visits COMSATS – Discusses Further Cooperation with E.DDr Akhtar Nazir

Islamabad, October 25, 2021 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin visited the Commission on Science & Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS), where he had talks with the Executive Director of the Commission, Dr. Akhtar Nazir.

During the meeting, Dr. Akhtar Nazir briefed in detail about the agenda and priority areas of COMSATS, as well as the active participation of Kazakhstan in the framework of the Organization. He also expressed interest in further increasing cooperation with the Kazakh side, involving more universities in the activities of the Commission.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed full support to the proposals of the Head of the Organization, assuring that the Diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan will make every effort to develop cooperation with the Commission.

COMSATS is an international organization, comprising of 27 member states of the South (Asia, Africa, Latin America). The mission of the Organization is to develop regional cooperation between the countries of the three continents in the field of science and technology.
