First Graduation Ceremoney of Chinese Overseas Students in Pakistan

Islamabad; Chinese Students Association in Pakistan in collaboration with Embassy of the People’s Republic of China on Saturday organized  first ever “Graduation ceremony of Chinese Overseas students 2019” in Pakistan on 4th May, here at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Islamabad.
H. E Mr. Yao Jing-Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Mr. Mushahid Hussain Syed-Chairman Pakistan-China Institute, Mr. Riaz Khokhar, Former Pakistani Ambassador to China, Mr. Jamal Shah-Director General of PNCA, Ms. Noor Amna Malik, Advisor MAD HEC, participated as chief guests. Professor Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Mr. Zhang Dao Jian, Head of Confucius Institute, Engr Waheed Ahmed Mangi, Director HRD, Higher Education Commission, Dr. Abu Bakar Bhutta, Assistant Professor Coordinator along with other eminent guests were also present.
H.E Mr. Yao Jing, congratulating the students, expressed best wishes to all the graduates who have completed their graduation from NUML & International Islamic University in Islamabad.
He urged the students that never forget that you are the future of China and during stay in Pakistan you developed friendly relations with Pakistani People which will be helpful for development in the different areas of Pakistan and China. 
Mr. Yao Jing termed the recent visit of Prime Minister Mr. Imran Khan highly important where he met with Chinese President and business community of China.
Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed said that it is really a special day as students graduated in Pakistan. The students will carry not only torch of knowledge but friendship, harmony and co-existence as well   between the two countries.
He shared his own experiences that he studied in China 40 years ago and so far has made almost 85 to 90 visits to China. He further said that remarkable transformation that we see in China is a result of the hard work, determination of the Chinese peoples. We congratulate all of you for that.
This programme was specially organized to mark the occasion of commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the May 4th Movement of The Development History of Chinese Students Association. It was the first graduation ceremony specially organized for all Chinese overseas students in Pakistan where total 156 students were graduated and 4 of them completed their PHD degrees. Chinese students & Children presented the special songs and dance performances during the graduation ceremony.
The ceremony was hosted in three languages including Chinese, English & Arabic. Certificates & Shields were also distributed to all 156 Students.
