IRAN ANNOUNCES DISMANTLING OF AMERICAN ZIONIST MERCENARY CELLS IN 3 PROVINCES

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has announced preemptive strikes and dismantling of foreign-sponsored armed mercenary cells in Mazandaran, Khuzestan, and Khorasan Razavi provinces.
In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Intelligence said a 10-member terrorist network affiliated with the American-Zionist enemy was identified and arrested following a tip from citizens of Mazandaran province.
According to the statement, the detained mercenaries had a history of attacking security forces, and were awaiting new anti-state actions in cities across the northern Iranian province.
The announcement added that another 10-member cell of American-Zionist spies was detained in an operation by intelligence units in Khorasan Razavi after receiving tips from ordinary citizens.
This enemy cell is said to have nexus with the enemy media outlets, and its members were transferring details of military locations, scientific and research centers, and economic infrastructure to the aggressors.
In the end, the statement mentioned the arrest of a three-member terrorist team, which was receiving direction by foreign mercenaries in Khuzestan province.
They were behind insecurity, fear and panic in the city in recent days by attacking security guards, as well as, several government and public places, including the Khuzestan Governorate, and causing damage. Two assault rifles and some ammunition were discovered from them.
