Yemeni Ansarullah movement is ready to take control of the strategic strait of Bab al-Mandab as part of the Resistance forces’ measure to further punish enemies, an informed source said.
Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, the informed source said Yemeni Ansarullah, as it has announced since the first day of the Ramadan War (Iran’s defense against US-Israeli aggression), is on full alert and ready to join the battlefield.
“If there is a need to control the Bab al-Mandab Strait to further punish the enemy, the heroes of Yemeni Ansarullah are fully prepared to play a key role,” the source said, stressing the fact that Iran alone has the ability to produce a credible threat in Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The informed source at the same time noted that Yemeni Ansarullah has already shown that closing the Bab al-Mandab Strait and exerting the will of the Resistance movement in the Red Sea is an easy task for them.
Earlier, a military source had told Tasnim that “in case the enemy decides to take provocative measures in southern Iran, new fronts could open that will surprise the enemy.”
“We are constantly monitoring and keeping an eye on the enemy front’s preparations and developments,” the source said.
“If the enemy wants to take action on land in the Iranian islands or anywhere else in our lands or to inflict costs on Iran with naval movements in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, we will open other fronts for them as a surprise so that their action will not only be of no benefit to them but will also double their costs.”
Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf raised alarms about a coordinated plot aimed at seizing an Iranian island backed by a regional ally of the enemy.
In a post on his X account on Wednesday, Qalibaf issued a grave warning regarding a potential operation to occupy one of Iran’s strategic islands, saying external adversaries are collaborating with a nearby nation to implement their hostile agenda.
“Enemies of Iran, with the support of one of the countries in the region, are preparing for an operation to occupy one of the Iranian islands,” he said.
“If they take even a single step, all the vital infrastructure of that regional country will become an unrestricted target for attack,” Qalibaf warned.
Possible US aggression against Kharg Island will pave the way for Iran to destabilize the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, a military source told Tasnim.
Speaking to Tasnim, the military source pointing to growing US threats against Kharg Island, south of Iran, and said, “If the US carries out its threats regarding a military aggression on Kharg Island, it will definitely face a response that is unprecedented compared to the surprises of the last 21 days of war.”
“Insecurity in other straits, including the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea, is one of the options of the Resistance Front, and the situation will become much more complicated than it is today for the Americans,” the source reiterated.
The source said that the Americans are now facing a very big dilemma regarding the Strait of Hormuz, adding, “On one hand, they officially announced that they are lifting the Iranian oil embargo for the first time since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in order to control global oil price. And on the other hand, they say that they want to attack Kharg Island to solve the oil problem in the world.”
“These two declared strategies of the US are completely contradictory to each other,” the source noted.
“If the Americans attack Kharg Island, firstly, oil production could be temporarily disrupted, secondly, Iran would set fire to all the facilities in the region and the situation would become much more complicated for the Americans and the region.”
“Thirdly” the source said “the Americans would have no way to protect Kharg and would suffer losses that are unprecedented since World War II.”
